Cost savings may be minimal, but I don\u2019t think many plan sponsors may be aware of the reduction in liability by no longer being fiduciaries.<\/p>\n<p>Even if you get through with them on the reduction in liability, I still believe many plan sponsors won\u2019t join, simply because they don\u2019t want to give up control.
